My fave look for fall will be...ooh, hard to pick just one! I am totally going to be rocking the cloche hats, but really I was doing that last fall as well. I'm going to be wearing a lot of grey, cream, black and supersaturated jewel tones, especially blue.
Ankle boots will be a must, as well as gloves. I want to get a pair of elbow length leather gloves - hoping to find some in a vintage or thrift shop. Also a must have - lace up oxford flats (in black, grey and silver), and two-tone spectator pumps.
I'm still interested in clothing that plays with volume and silhouette, although I'm also dabbling in wearing more body-con clothing. Don't think I'll be jumping on the jodhpur trend. I always wear a lot of scarves in the fall/winter, because I'm always so cold. This year I also have a faux-fur, silk-lined collar that I'll be playing around with wearing on top of various outfits.
Eventually I'll need to get a new winter coat...I'm thinking of a really luxe dove-grey trench, lined with really brightly colored silk.
:) God I love fall fashion, so much more interesting than summer!
Wow, sounds like you have it all figured out Shal!! Good for you. So did you like the cream and black look I did above? I'll try to do a look just for you, with a grey trench and some long gloves. Bye!
